Whats so big deal with love

Why does everyones life revolve aroun Love/relationship?
seriously don't we have better things to do like save the world or maybe watching tv

To put it simple; love is important because without it life would have no meaning or purpose. We could never accomplish the things we set out to do. Nor could we care, cherish and hold those dearest to us. Love allows us to put ones needs and desires before our matters which saves the world from being completely selfish.

As Robert Louis Stevenson once said: "The essence of love is kindness."
